About the Event
Held just before the FIRA RoboWorld Cup and Summit 2024, this edition focused on autonomous car challenges. Hosted by FIRA and the State of Maranhão; organized by FIRA and IEMA.
The FIRA Frontier Camp (FFC) teaches the fundamentals of robotics through project-based learning: short lectures on theory, then hands-on work on problem solving, system development, testing and debugging. The camp is not coaching for the FIRA competitions that follow it, and it is agnostic to the participant's development environment. Instruction is in English, and students are teamed up across countries, each team supervised by a coach.
