FIRA Frontier Camp (FFC) 2023
Event Dates
14 - 16 July 2023
Location
Wolfenbüttel, Germany
About the Event
Held just before the FIRA RoboWorld Cup and Summit 2023, this edition taught physics, coding, control and software design in the domain of autonomous drones, and how to apply robotics skills to subjects such as physics and biology.
The FIRA Frontier Camp (FFC) teaches the fundamentals of robotics through project-based learning: short lectures on theory, then hands-on work on problem solving, system development, testing and debugging. The camp is not coaching for the FIRA competitions that follow it, and it is agnostic to the participant's development environment. Instruction is in English, and students are teamed up across countries, each team supervised by a coach.
